Internal Organization

The backbone of the Student Council

The Internal Organization department may be the smallest, but it provides the foundation that keeps all other departments running smoothly — and the whole council moving in the same direction.

Who we are

Internal Organization consists of the three Council Speakers — elected by the student council at the start of each summer semester. These are students who have shown a special commitment to the faculty and to their fellow council members.

What we do

🔗

Coordinating the Council

The Speakers stay informed about all proceedings within the student council and coordinate cooperation between departments — solving problems in close communication with department heads.
🎤

Representing the Council

The Speakers are the public face of the student council — handling external inquiries and representing the council alongside University Policy heads in front of professors and the university council.
📅

Running Council Meetings

Our open-to-the-public bi-weekly meetings keep all interested students up-to-date on the council's current efforts. Preparation and facilitation are our responsibility.

General Student Council Assembly
At least once per semester, we host a general assembly featuring interactive information booths — and free White Sausage and pretzels on our tab.

Staff Retreats
Every semester, the council retreats to a hotel near Munich for two to three days of workshops on strategy and direction — improving your academic experience at TUM SOM.
